As a class we pretended to make a Siapo Bark Cloth (Tapa Cloth), just like the Samoan people. First we used rocks to beat the Mulberry tree bark until it was as soft as cloth. Then we painted traditional Samoan designs. Next the children used neutral colors to paint their designs.
